Ivie Huskies

Aela is a dog that means a great deal to me, both as a competitor and as the foundation of my breeding program. Born and raised here at Ivie Huskies, she represents many of the qualities I value most in the Siberian Husky.

Aela is a moderate, athletic female with a beautiful forechest, balanced proportions, and a smooth, efficient gait. She possesses the endurance and athleticism the breed was developed for while maintaining the feminine elegance that makes her so appealing. Her structure allows her to move freely and effortlessly, a quality that has always stood out to me.

In the ring, Aela has earned recognition from judges across multiple venues, including Best Puppy in Show honors. While she can be a bit polarizing, I have always appreciated that she is unapologetically herself. She is a dog that rewards those who value moderation, soundness, and functional structure.

Beyond her accomplishments, Aela is a joyful and affectionate companion. She is intelligent, eager to be involved in whatever is happening, and possesses the spirited personality that makes living with Siberians so rewarding. Whether she is participating in dog sports, spending time with her family, or raising a litter of puppies, she approaches life with enthusiasm and determination.

As a producer, Aela has exceeded my expectations. Her first litter produced several promising young dogs, including River, Briar, and Draven, each carrying pieces of the qualities that make her special. More importantly, she has consistently passed along her athleticism, balance, and wonderful temperament.

Aela is not only an important part of my breeding program but also one of the dogs that has helped shape my vision for the future. She reminds me every day why I fell in love with this breed and why preserving the Siberian Husky is such a meaningful journey.
