Ivie Huskies

Originally selected as my keeper from the Naava and Rafiki litter, this special boy's journey has taken a different direction than I first imagined. While his future may not look exactly as I originally planned, he has reminded me that every dog has their own path, and sometimes those unexpected paths lead to wonderful places.

From the beginning, he has been a joyful dog with an infectious enthusiasm for life. He approaches every day with a wagging tail, a playful spirit, and a sense of adventure that is impossible not to love. Whether he is making people laugh with his goofy antics or throwing himself wholeheartedly into a new experience, he has a way of bringing happiness to everyone around him.

Structurally, he is a beautifully put together dog with a stunning front assembly, a well balanced rear, and the athleticism expected of a Siberian Husky. His natural movement, enthusiasm, and love of activity make him an exciting prospect for performance sports.

More importantly, he possesses the attitude that makes these activities so rewarding. He loves to work, loves to play, and loves to be involved in whatever adventure comes next. Watching him experience the world with such excitement is a constant reminder of why I love this breed.

As he continues to mature, we are excited to explore activities such as dryland mushing and dock diving, where we believe his athleticism, drive, and joyful spirit will truly shine. While his role may have changed from what I initially envisioned, my excitement for his future has not. Some dogs are happiest when they have a job to do, and I have a feeling this boy is going to have the time of his life.

No matter where his journey takes him, he will always be a cherished part of the Ivie Huskies family, and I cannot wait to see the adventures that lie ahead.
