Ivie Huskies

Naava was born on May 17, 2019, in Warsaw, Poland, and joined our family later that year. Bred by Takuna FCI, she brought with her a unique blend of working and show bloodlines, as well as a perspective on the breed that was different from anything I had previously experienced.

From the day she arrived, Naava was full of energy, determination, and enthusiasm for life. She approaches everything with intensity, whether she is learning something new, competing in an event, or simply spending time with the people she loves. Her eagerness to work and strong desire to please have made her an incredibly rewarding dog to train and live with.

​

Over the years, Naava has earned championships in multiple venues and participated in a variety of activities, including Fast CAT, Rally, Trick Dog, Weight Pull, and Dock Diving. While I am proud of her accomplishments, what I appreciate most is her versatility. She is the type of dog that is willing to try anything and gives her whole heart to whatever task is placed in front of her.

As she matured, Naava developed a quiet confidence that complements her natural drive. Motherhood seemed to bring an added sense of calm and purpose to her, transforming her from an energetic young dog into a thoughtful and steady adult. While she remains enthusiastic and playful, she now carries herself with a confidence that is uniquely her own.

Naava is deeply devoted to her people and forms strong bonds with those she trusts. She is affectionate, intelligent, and endlessly food motivated, making her both entertaining and easy to train. One of my favorite things about her is the way she lights up when she has a job to do. Whether in harness, in the ring, or learning something new, she is happiest when working alongside her person.

Perhaps most importantly, Naava gave me Aela, a daughter who carries forward many of the qualities I admire in her mother. Through Aela and the generations that follow, a piece of Naava will always remain part of Ivie Huskies.
